Recently, I saw a patient who could only see out of one eye, when our Odom’s Team made rounds at Community Place Nursing Home near Battle Field Park. He told me that he had suffered an eye injury from playing with a bee bee gun as a child. When we dispensed his new eyeglasses, he was so happy to be able to read his bible and see TV better. Let’s protect our children’s eyes with safe toys, so that they will live a lifetime with both eyes.
